STELTON ROAD OFFICE LOCATION: THE OLD NEW MARKET SCHOOL BUILDING

April 21, 2009.  In 2004, when I set off on my adventure to hang out my shingle and open my own law practice, I never dreamed how fulfilling my professional life would become.  I left law firm life to have a more rewarding career and to keep that delicate balance between professional life and family life.  Five years later, I have settled into my "new" office at 44 Stelton Road (Suite 210) and enjoy the life I have built.  I have found out that the office is located in an old school building once known as the New Market School.  When I walk through the halls I imagine what life would have been like back then when this was a school.  You can still see the gym!  I have some great neighbors in the United States Post Office, financial planners, importers, technical support, insurance agents and real estate brokers.  The building is full of small businesses, much like my own, where folks are walking the fine line between making it and giving up.  Please support your small local businesses, whether it is your local attorney or accountant, real estate agent or insurance agent, financial planner or dry cleaner.  Piscataway has a plethora of small business owners who offer great professional services.  As a Mom and a Professional I have come to learn that there is a way to balance family and work life, and enjoy it as well.  I enjoy meeting and chatting with my clients, stop by my office at 44 Stelton Road in the New Market School Building.

2008 Our Lady of Mt. Virgin School Harvest Moon Basket Raffle ANOTHER Success!

Our Lady of Mount Virgin School, Middlesex, NJ, November 2008.  Another successful year for OLMV's 3nd Annual Harvest Moon Basket Raffle raised over $39,000 for the technology program of the school and for the general educational needs of the students.  The evening was a huge success and lots of fun for those who attended.  Our office participates by sponsoring a table at the raffle, as well as a large basket donation for the raffle.  I personally participate by organizing this event for our school children.  For the past three years, Our Lady of Mt. Virgin's basket raffle (i.e. tricky tray) has been voted Best Tricky Tray in New Jersey by the voters at www.trickytray.com (2006, 2007 and 2008).  For more information about the school you can contact www.olmv.net.  For more information about the November 2009 tricky tray, visit this website or www.olmv.net for updates in the fall.  Tickets go on sale a few weeks before the event and have SOLD OUT for three years running.  It's a hot ticket for a wonderful event.  Stay tuned for more information.

2009 LEE JEANS NATIONAL DENIM (COMING IN OCTOBER)

CLOSER TO A CURE. MAKE A DONATION IN 2009.  Once again the firm will be participating in the Lee Jeans National Denim Day to raise breast cancer awareness and donate money to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer foundation.  Please check back often for details as to when Denim Day will be scheduled by Lee Jeans in 2009 and how YOU can be a part of a wonderful fundraiser.  This started out as a small event with only a few outside participants on behalf of our firm.  In the past 5 years, we have donated close to $1,000 to the Komen Foundation, just by wearing PINK or JEANS to work.  Stop back for more details.
